Well,

I just uploaded part 2. Hopefully I didn't mess up the upload procedure at least! Anyway, I felt pretty good about my assignment but in the end I was sort of shooting in the dark with only the Cade example as a target. Tomorrow I'll take part 3.

To everyone who helped me in this chat room I truly thank you. I'll check back when I get my score to let you know how it went.

Peter

Best of luck Peter ! Is it too early to ask you about your submission? How many classes in your class diagram, how many sequence diagrams etc?
Another significant question..did you have to change any relationships/cardinality in BDOM?

Hopefully part III would be a breeze compared to the rigors of part II.

Good luck Peter! My solution is progressing quite slowly since everything else is stealing my time after workdays... So I'll just hang on here for a while and see how you guys are doing

It took me a while to complete my project too. Between work and a 1 yr. old daughter it's been a busy few months.

I went with the simplicity is best route for my assignment. 1 class diagram, 1 component diagram and 5 sequence diagrams (1 or the 4 appeared to need it's own alternate flow). I had about 3 pages of assumptions. Some were of a design nature but most were explaining my interpretation of the requirements - which is turn should be self explained with the diagrams.

But of course I don't have my results so using me as a guide would be very risky.

Good luck Peter! For component diagram, do you follow Cade's book or Blue Print as a guide?

Thanks,
James

It's pretty straight forward. Total exam time was 30 minutes. As long as you thought about why you designed your application a specific way you should be fine. If you just copied somebody eles work (without understanding it) this is where it would really hurt you.

The TOTAL exam time is 90 minutes. It only took me 30 minutes. I can't imagine anyone having to stay 90 minutes.
