Hi everyone:
Can anyone recommend any good books for the SCEA exam?
I am a newbie and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Is that your real name!? I think that someone will be telling you shortly that only real names are suppose to be used on this forum.

Maybe he's a Parsi. Don't many of them have last names based on what they do?

Goutam, Thanks for the info again.
Can you please tell me if I need to study both the books i.e.
one by Simon Roberts and another by Joseph?
Is it that some topics are covered by one book better than the other?
Thanks in advance.

I bought both books. But only Cade's SCEA study guide was useful to me.

I'm also looking for a resourse specific to the SCEA test and project. I'm currently working on the SCJD but will be doing the SCEA next. You say that only Cade was useful, what was the problem with Allen? Are the reviews in the bunkhouse bunk? They give Allen a higher score than Cade. What are your specific problems with Allen?

Roleplay

Gerald Davis: I found a very useful book giving advice on how to build online application. It uses UML to describe the design. For me, it is just a matter of modifying the classes and relationships to the Airline domain; I also learned somthing about better UML design. I highly recommend this book.

Joe Likely: So reading this book would make life easier, but you'r not gonna tell us the name of this book?

Gerald Davis: Bingo !!!

Gerald Davis: Advice I can give is to go to Charing Cross Road were there are loads of large bookships and have a nice long look through the computer section pick some books, go to the cafe area get a cup of tea and have a long read, take notes and return the book to the bookshelf afterwards.
