Return flight
One-way flight, Return flight, a flight is a flight so directional data doesnt need no persistence in no database. Its only has relevance in the GUI when booking a flight. Example if a bloke books London to NY then most likely he would want to book a NY to London afterwards. To do this he simply presses a return flight button.

Anyone have nerve to disagree

Most likely, but not always After they've done with NYC, some blokes might want to do some business in Boston (for example), and take a return flight to London from there. That's one of the possible reasons for not buying a round-trip ticket.

Directional information might need persistance if you care about keeping times and dates of departure/arrivals (which are time-zone specific), gate numbers (which are airport specific), and other location specific data.

Doesnt the itinerary need to persist whether its a one way or round trip itinerary?

What I mean by Directional information is, whether a flight is one-way or return. No matter how many stopovers you have on the journey it is not necessary to have directional information. All a flight contains is time, date departure destination and seats, a flight object should not know if it is a return or one-way . If you need that kind of information, you can work out easily for yourself or the GUI can work it out for you.

If you want to see the flights book in a different time zone simply use a timezone converter in the GUI.
