In my quest to understand the pet store example, I came across so many issues. I am still battling and any help in this direction would be appreciated.

In pet store example requestprocessor converts all requests into Action and then Actions into Events. Events are assigned EJBAction name - meaning the EJB which will process this event.

This event is then handed over to the EJBcontroller which forwards the event to the right EJB. The event response will contain the updated model.

In the whole schema I have following questions.
1) What's the role of command handler in this design?
2) What's the role of state machine role?
3) What's the role of ComponentManager?

thanks.

anyone. just reactivation the thread. One more thing:

- there is only one EventRespone OrderEventResponse.java.

Why use one special pattern for retrieving order info and another for getting the list of pets.

thanks.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
