Hi,

I have used Struts and have taken a look at Perstore WAF as well.
I am trying to find out how these two differ.
Ofcourse these both frameworks use MVC etc etc. but I think main difference is that in WAF, there is dynamic command mapping between web layer and EJB layer while in struts actions are monolithic ie. EJB actions are normally up in struts action themselves ( unelss one designs some command pattern there). So WAF would be more felxible I think.

Any thoughts?

My understanging is pretty much the same as yours. Struts is primarily aimed at the web tier, with the link to the EJB tier determined individually.
However, lots of people use struts as this link is quite easy to achieve. See my thread on J2EE best practices which shows how eBay do this.
