Pls let me know resources on legacy connectivity and load balancing.
I have Mark Cade's book but it does not have any info on these topic.

Look at the 'SCEA links' on this site. You may also want to join some of the groups on yahoo (scea_prep, scea_j2ee, amongst others).

The 'Blueprints' touches on these subjects in various places. For instance, you will probably want to use 'connectors' to link to legacy applications, JDBC to link to legacy databases. For load balancing, it mentions how flexible and simple SLSB's are for clustering, whilst SFSB need to consider how to cater for 'state'. The pros and cons are all mentioned.
