Passed SCEA a week back with 85% score. The exam was tough.
Here is my background. I dont work on Java technology on a day to day basis. But I have experience architecting solutions using Java, JSP, Servlets and Lotus Notes for 8 years.

The following books helped me:

Head First EJB, Head First Design Patterns, Sun Certified Enterprise Architect guide by Sun, UML by Martin Fowler, Design Patterns by GoF and all the notes, postings by javaranch scea group. Many many thanks to you all.

jkumar,
Congratulations. Great Job!

Can you tell something about how you handled it.
At the moment I am a bit stuck on how to handle session state for the various workflows. Have to choose between all SFSB's or also using Httpsession.
Maybe you can tell something about that?
thanks,
J
