No tutorial and no mock test is helpful. The real exam is
very hard and there is no similarity of questions in mock
and real test.

So pls. dont only emphasize the mock or tutorial
read the book and get overall concept and experience in real j2ee.

I think SUN has changed the question type from easier to
difficult nowadays. Because how other people said is not
real in the exam.

My score was only 78%.
Thanks to all here and this message forum.

Hi William,

this was my experience too. The questions were much more longer and difficult than the ones in the mock exams. They were seldom knowledge questions, almost all of them had a scenario and an architectural decision in it.

Jay

The time is too short for this type of question.
It was a terrible experience for me coz in mock
mu score was 95% and i had a plenty of time.
but in real exam i got 2 mins left and it was all
scenario based no knowledge question.

so now the real exam not concern with EJB 1.1 or 1.2 its the
real architect knowledge which is countable.

Even i had the same experience . I just passed my exam last 4 days ago.
It was really tough and most of the question on scenrio based , more on architecture of project. None of the question came from mock not in similar.

Though my experince with the previous SUN certificaions was diffent , complted exams in 45 min - 60 mins.

Would like to advise prepare throughly for SCEA exams .

Do you have job experience in j2ee architecture ,design, integration.
if you think that you have knowledge of all the topics j2ee covers
in depth detail then you can proceed ....

Vaithiya,

SCEA Part I has always been a tricky exam.

Pick one study guide, good J2EE book and refer to John Weathebie's notes.

You should be fine!!!

Deepak

Thanks william, Deepak for your response.

Deepak, can you give me the link for John Weathebie's notes?
