Part II: Can EJB2.0 Locals/CMRs be used for persistence ?

For the persistence tier can we design to use the EJB2.0 local interfaces and
container managed relationships. I read someone saying that we should use features pertaining to EJB 1.1 only.

Personally i dont see any reason why one should not use the above features as they are much better perforamant and improvement over the 1.1 for the assignment.

Those who had cleared part II please clarify.

Hi Mahesh,

Take a look at this thread, Parag has used Local interfaces with CMP/CMR's and he passed the part2/3 with 99%.

Also i didn't see anywhere, that we should use only EJB 1.0/1.1 ??

Yes you can use CMP/CMR with Local Interfaces. But do mention this in your assignment.

I used it in my assignment and scored 100% (44/44) in the component diagram. So I guess it is OK.
