Hi

In Mark Cade's book the class diagrams incorporate classes that are technology dependent ie has references to stateless session beans Ex page 169
But people who have cleared the exam repetitively say that they have made the class diagram technology independent. So am a little confused on what to do?
Thanks
Regards
Subbu

If the class diagram is not too loaded I will but very carefully selected techology dependent classes (e.g. SFSB, SLSB, ...) in the class diagram.
If the class diagram is rather stuffed already, I will leave them out for clearity reasons.

Thanks David for the reply. I have one more question. If at all we show SFSB,SLSB then how do we represent them in class diagram. Can we use streotypes like <<Statelesssessionbean>> etc?

Hi Subu,

I would follow the example in Cade's book. But in generell and especially after reading a lot of threats here on class diagram, I probably would try to leave the class diagram technology independent.
