Please help me out on some points here. What is the approach you took for your component diagram? In Cade's book, the subsystems are just shown as subsystems. I'm wondering whether we are supposed to show the business components (eg entity beans) for each subsystem. Did you follw any example for the component diagram? Thanks.

There are a lot of experience shared on this forum and my approach followed those advices.

I have a class diagram, almost technical independent and 3 components diagrams, with the J2EE components and external subsystems.
