Is anyone using Enterprise Architect for their UML diagrams? I've been given EA 4.5 at work and want to get other peoples opinions before I commit to it.

I used a older version, Enterprise Architect 3.10, mostly because like yourself I had licenses available through my work. I found it had everything I needed for this assignment.

You can use Poseidon (www.gentleware.com) standard edition (needed to export to HTML format) and it costs $250 for a single seat.

P.S. Poseidon has a million users and it cleans clock.

I have tried all of the UML tools and settled on Enterprise Architect. You can buy a license for just under $200. It is an excellent tool! I tried the older versions of EA and didn't like it at all. It was very buggy. They really revamped the latest version. Definitely try EA.

I also tried Altova's new product UModel. I didn't find it as intuitive to use as EA. Their price right now is better though - only $129. Nevertheless, I still say EA is worth any penny. It's great to find a tool that I can use out in the real world also - not just for this exam.
