Hi guyz,

yesterday i tried to draw a component diagram with poseidon and i really dont like the way it is drawing them.

The component have the "class" look and feel, with a stereotype <<component>> instead of showing the two plugs on the left.

Is there any way to change this and to draw an awesome component with the two plugs ? i m using Poseidon Community Edition.

Thanks for your support

tery

I couldn't find a means to do it myself - I ended up using Jude for the component diagrams as a result. :-\

I guess Posiden is UML 2.0 specification, in which the OMG group has changed the notation for a component. In 1.1 version of UML it used to be with 2 plugs on the left side of rectangle. Hope this helps

Hi Tery

I agree with Raj, this representation of a component is UML 2.0 compliant, may be you are using a recent version of poseidon.

Marcel
