RMI-IIOP or RMI-JRMP

Can anybody help me which one has better performance and why?
I'm confused by whizlab's explanation.

Hi Sanjay,
Here goes my understanding.

RMI-JRMP is the one with better performance. Its intended for both interfacing layers(client and server side) to be in java langauge. RMI-IIOP is used in situations where there is a possibility of non java(corba) clients along with java clients. Possibly this required some effort on down level. Hence, if the question is exactly what you asked, RMI-JRMP is better.

PS: Any Suggestions?
