Hi All,

Can anybody please clarify the alternative flow of pay for itinerary which mentions something like
The login use case is executed and system returns the list of itineraries.

Does it not mean that it returns the list of unpaid itineraries from the database or I am missing something here?

Thanks

Ajai,

A very interesting point!

It means that a user can have multiple unpaid itineraries and not only one as implied in the requirements in general.

Ajai,

It's the architect's job to refine and clarify the use cases without breaking the requirements, use cases should be compatible.

Hope this helps

Thanks for ur responses!

This topic has been discussed a lot and I have read almost all posts which justified not persisting in db the unpaid itineray. But I am thinking differently.

Dan,

I understand that multiple unpaid itineraries can be there. But I feel this line stresses that before the user can login ,the itineraies are existing. Where? It can not be in virtual shopping cart since user has not logged in and login is the prerequisite for preparing itinerary.

Ajai,
I have made all these complications simple by persisting unpaid itineraries. I am pretty confident with this approach, and will mention WHY I am taking this route.

But you can do it WITHOUT persisting unpaid itineraries also. You as an architect has to come up with a proper design plan ...

Hi Giju,
I too am leaning towards that option since I feel as per requirements I might need to.I don't know if some new discovery changes my mind later.

Thanks
