Hi,

Just wanted to confirm that the EJB version used for the test is EJB 1.1. Does that mean we need to study from ed roman second edition and cant use third edition?

Hi,
Since this is an Architecture related exam, it doesnt depend on any specific version of EJB. I dont recall of anyone saying 1.1 specific questions were there.....but...an architect needs to be aware of pros and cons of each version of EJB. So, if the que comes, you better be prepaired. Study any version but be aware of differences.

But its given in the SCEA FAQS http://faq.javaranch.com/view?SunCertifiedEnterpriseArchitectFaq
abt EJB version that will be testd.

* Which version of EJB is in the part I exam?

The current exam is based on J2EE 1.2, which includes EJB 1.1

Pls confirm if EJB 2 is not to be studied.

Tx Praveen.

The current version for SCEA is J2EE 1.2, which focus on EJB 1.1.

For part I exam, questions related to EJB 1.1 will be asked. No questions on EJB 1.2. For part II exam, you can use any availiable technologies in your application design.
