JavaRanch has an admirable policy of not using silly names for regitration. Could it also urge members to use meaningful subject lines? I'd love to run a query on the database and see how many posts consist of the subject line "Urgent".
It'd make it a lot easier to figure out which posts are meaningful/interesting if they had subject lines that actually described what was being discussed.
thanks for letting me vent,
