Dear all,

Sorry if I'm asking the obvious. But would like to know a few things before I strat preparing for SCEA.

1. How long would it take for one to prepare adequately ( say to score a 80%) on the test. I have around 4 years of Computer science edu and around 5 years of software experience (Java).

2. Do we have a list of free/legitimate resources available online( I'm happy to wait till I contribute enough to the forum.

3. Do we have a "share your SCEA experience" section in the forum.

4. What is the best way to start preparing ( assuming that the only Java book I've read is Patrick Naughton)

Thanks,
HMTG.

Visit the following link. You will find lot of resources.

Also, read Matstering EJB book. UML Distilled is also a must read i can say.

Try some mock exams. Mock exam links are given in some threads. Find them.

Let me know if you have any difficulty in finding them.

All the very best!!

I recommend Mark Cade book apart from the other books Laksmi recommended. If you spend extra few weeks preparing for Part 1, other steps will be comfortable.
