Hi,

I find that while drawing UML(Class) diagram with Java Studio Enterprise 8, the methods, and attributes are shown, in java declarative format, rather than the UML prescribed format.

For example : attribute declaration was shown as

private int flightId

rather UML prescribed format would be

-flightId : int

Can you help me, as to how we can draw in UML prescribed format, if not, then i would prefer to use other tool, for the assignment.

Thanks!

I think it's not possible.

I have abondoned the idea to use SUN Studio for SCEA.

Hi Jashu Ja,

May be you can try the other alternative tools like visio, together, or MagicDraw(www.magicdraw.com).

Visio is a Microsoft crap and it is pretty irritating.
Together is reasonably good.
Rational is very good but very expensive too.
Magic Draw is a free tool and it is good UML tool for Java folks.

Hope my recommendation helps you.

Regards
Santosh
