Hi All,

I have 5+ years of experience in developing applications using J2EE. I completed SCJP 2.0 in 3 years back.
I am in dilemma on whether to go for SCEA or SCWCD.
Is is really appropriate to go for SCEA certification at this point of time or SCWCD.
suppose if i want go for SCEA, What preparation i have to do and how much time have to spent in a day.

Plz suggest me..

Thanks & Regards,
surender

As I've probably said several times before to other similar queries, it all depends on what you want to be doing in Java. If you want to be architecting solutions, then SCEA is the direction you'll want to go; however, if you want to be doing servlets and JSPs (and therefore, mostly web-applications), then SCWCD would not be a bad direction to go. It all depends on your preference.

My recommendation is to check Sun Educational's site and see how comfortable you feel with the requirements for each, and let it guide you with a decision on how much studying you need to do.
