Hi guys,

Having just booked my SCEA package (courses + exams), I'd appreciate any word of advice in order to understand how to go about it.
I see Sun recommends the development course to be taken before the architecture one, which works for me as I have several years of programming experience, but not very much with Java. On the other hand, I'm fairly good in distributed systems design & security (5+ years of research experience in the area), and decent in UML modelling.

For someone with a background such as mine, could anyone estimate what is a realistic time scale to gain the certification?
Also, could anyone advise me whether it would be better to take two courses closer together (i.e. within a few weeks), or to have them separated for a several months?

Any other comment will also be most appreciated...

Thanks in advance.
