Hi all,
I cleared my part-I exam today with 89% (reached late coz of the snow storm, got lucky - the exam supervisor allowed me to sit for the exam)!!!
My section scores:
Concepts: 100%
Common Architectures: 50%
Legacy Connectivity: 100%
EJB: 88%
EJB Container Model: 100%
Prototols: 100%
Applicability of J2EE: 100%
Design
Patterns: 100%
Messaging: 100%
Internationalization: 100%
Security: 50%
I was moslty just reading member postings in this group, rarely ever posting anything myself. I really appreciate everyone who directly/indirectly helped me.
This site rocks! Its got the friendliest ppl and the best information content for
SCEA exam on the web.
Here is the material I used:
1. Sun Study Guide - Mark Cade
2. Study Guide - Paul Allen
3. UML Distilled - Martin Fowler
4. This forum
5. Yahoo groups
Other than that, pretty much anything useful on JavaWorld.com. Sun's tutorials were helpful for JMS and Internationalization etc. Few mock exams too.
Good luck to all. Gotta start preparing for part-II and part-III.
Thanks again and cheers!
