I found this site when I searching help about how to take part in SCEA part III. It is a very good forum on SCEA. If I found this forum earlier, may be I will submit my assigment with more confident. For me, I passed Part I in Nov 2004, and submit the Part II assigment in Jan 2006. It takes very long time for me to prepare the assigment. One resean I submit the assigment so later is that I am afraid a may be fail because the Votcher spend me a lots of money in my coutry (2500 China Yuan, 1/3 of my month salary. Currently I moved to Autstralia); One reason is that I over done the design - I give a very detailed design, include presentation tier. For example, class diagram include 10 class diagrams, in package level.
When I come this forum after I submited my assigment, I found others' assigment is quite different from mine, and I have almost no assumptions (the cardinality of the domain/entity objects I have draw on the class diagram). I am afraid I will fail, but I passed by luck.
From the discuss and post in this forum, I found a problem of SCEA Part II - almost all the assigment is the same, all about Fly by Night, Iterations and Segments. I think the assigment to each is quite different, at least not the same one. The problem is, day by day, it's will be very easy to pass the SCEA assigment. This is quite UNFAIR for the guys who took part in the certification early, and SCEA will lost it's value gradully. Don't you think so?
