Hello all,

Is it acceptable to specify inserting a record into the database by adding only a note in the sequence diagram; for example:

Insert the payment record.

or

Update the inventory.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

In my view Sequence diagram not showing any layer in between will create confusion. It will not be clear that the record is created by Entity Bean or normal JDBC call.

Hello Saha,

What is that? A DAO does not use the EJB container services, the Entity bean does. So is what you wrote not contradictional?

Thomas and others,

I am sorry for the question. I can solve it. I have the DAO used by an entity bean. There was no real question here. Again, sorry.
