Be fair: Delete your words only, not the thread

Hello all,

if you had posted a question or any topic and later decide to hide that "beginner's question" or what ever from the public, then please

- do NOT delete the first question/contribution of a thread because that would delete the answers of all others as well! As you might be able to imagine it has been time costly to write a dedicated answer for you and the whole forum. This forum lives from good answers.

- Instead, please delete the words, sentences or even all content of your first question, but not the question posting itself. That keeps our answers alive.

What I just doublechecked is: You can even re-edit the topic of the thread.

Thank you in advance.
