primitive data types in RMI / EJB

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
In RMI/EJB, generally, any object that implements Serializable interface be used as arguments / return types in a method.

Can the primitive data types(int, short, float, etc) be used as arguments / return types in a method in RMI as well as in business methods of EJB ?

Thanks in Advance.

Thanks

Suresh

primitive types are serializable, then may be used.
