Hi All,

I'm posting this question here as this room is for experienced architects and I thought I might find a good advice here.

What is the best book (or possibly collection of books) about SOA??

Thanks
Matouk

Hello Matouk,

SOA is just one of the hype words. It is realized by
- EJBs and / or
- WebServices and / or
- ...

With this in mind you may
- re-read your existing books and
- excerpt and concentrate what is the goal of SOA.

Don't allow them make you feeling like a fool.

Thank you Thomas, I just want to gather the information about the concepts behind SOA, I know that it is not a new tech or something, but I just want to know what architects say.

Understanding Enterprise SOA by Manning publications is one of the best book I read in recent times.

To get you started:
SOA and Web services
SOA antipatterns
(i.e. don't implement SOA just for the sake of having SOA - have a good reason for implementing it)

Also take a look at
