I have received my SCEA Part 2 project instructions as a JAR file, can anyone tell me what is the easiest way to open it in the Windows environment?

Thank you very much.

Try Winzip. A Jar file is just a ZIP file.

I agree with you, come on, anyone are locking forward SCEA certification without get the profile. Those 'beginners' are taking this exam simulators like Whizlabs and TestKing and are achieving the first part, and they felt capable to take part two.

Before take the certification, get some experience in the real world to prove that you can be an SCEA.

I agree. I feel more confident about my chances of passing the first part.

Namitha,
Do you have any suggestions on how I should study for part 1?

Some people have misunderstood my question and describing the situation as "unbelievable"!!

I did not ask how to open a JAR file, rather asked to discuss the EASIEST way to do so.(Say for example if you open a JAR file using Jbuilder it will be just opened without any hassle, but if you do not have Jbuilder?)

If you do not have problem solving ability and natural intelligent, your experience is useless. (as you have proved in this discussion)

I have initiated a useful and interesting discussion. If you cannot discuss on the point PLEASE LEAVE AND PLEASE DO NOT SPOIL the people who are giving useful information.

Thank you very much.

I agree that it is unbelievable.

Just type "jar" in your prompt and read the instructions. Remember that you need the JAVA installed (yes! you need the JAVA installed!)

Best Regards!

I Disagree! The problem is not the level of doubt interpretation. The real problem is use this SCEA forum to create threads about this kind of questions. I meen, come on, didnt't any one here use google to search this kind of questions ?

In my opinion, the type of questions at this forum must be related to the SCEA certification part I and J2EE design techniques for part II. 'The best way to open a jar file ?'

Thats the real point, keep this forum focused on valuable questions to achieve the certification.

Best Regards!

The easiest way is from Total Commander. You can get it here http://www.ghisler.com/
