This is regarding SCEA part 2

In FBN inc. flight solution scenario, do we need to provide two different user interfaces for Travel agent and web customers ? following two statements confused me

"would like to have the content available to the customer using the web and the travel agent using an application"

"FBN would like to make the user interface more appealing for their travel agents by replacing the 3270 terminal with one that can support a graphical user interface"

Any thoughts ??

IMO using an application means using Java's cross-platform GUI libraries like AWT, Swing, Java Foundation Classes (JFC), SWT to create the User Interface

ya..i agree with kartikeyan...and moreover 3270 terminals give you thick client effect...And replacing them can be done only using Swings/AWT ..
