HI ya,

Does anyone know which version of uml our diagrams for part II need to conform to? The most recent version of uml is 2.x but the exam was created when 1.x was the most up to date version.

Is UML 2.x acceptable to the markers?

I should have added that the examples in Cade and Roberts book are 1.x examples both for the study chapters and for the example solution to a similar problem (chapter 8)

Try to use UML 1.4 or UML 2.0. Anyone could solve your design.

Best Regards

Thanks Ricardo,

I had come to the conclusion that UML 1.5 was the way to go as the assignment asks for 'sequence or collaboration diagrams' - and collaboration diagrams are not called collaboration diagrams in UML 2.0. instead they have been renamed to communication diagrams to avoid confusion with Collaborations.

Thanks again.
