What books are required to prepare for the Part 1 exam?

I have the following :

1)Sun Certified Enterprise Architect for J2EE Technology Study Guide by Mark
Cade, Simon Roberts
2)Head First EJB

3)Core J2EE Patterns(Best Practices and Design Strategies) 2nd edition
by Deepak Alur,John Crupi, Dan Malks

What more do I need?

I'm not quite sure if knowledge of patterns from Core J2EE Patterns is required to pass Part1.
Instead of this - GoF patterns are required.

P.S. Just repeating after this book http://tinyurl.com/lvek9

Hi Jeff,

I used the books you have and also the GOF book (I have had a copy of this for some 8 or nine years - its very very good). I also have a copy of UML Distilled by Martin Fowler, which was handy for a bit of clarification, but I am sure you could find the same info here or on the web somewhere.

After reading the Cade and Roberts book a couple of times and refreshing my memory of some of the patterns I have not used very often from the GOF book, I found the Part I exam quite easy. The other 2 books I just used to clarify a couple of points from the Cade and Roberts book.

HTH

So strictly speaking , the Cade book is sufficient to prepare for part 1?
(Of course one will need to read up the other books to get more clarity on things that Cade does not get into detail on)

i think Cade's book is a bit contracted for those who are not familiar with J2EE system and have no more experiences in the platform. the guid book from Allen and Bambara is more detail and suitable for a good study.
