Hi all,
I have been a silent observer of this newsgroup in the last month.
I have attended successfully part I but I have failed part II assignment.

This was my score:

Class Diagram (44 maximum) ............................... 19
Component Diagram (44 maximum) ........................... 37
Sequence/Collaboration Diagrams (12 maximum) ............. 9

As you can see I have got a low score on the class diagram.
I don't know why I got such a low mark...maybe I did some mistakes
because I wanted to follow at any cost the Business Analyst BDM and
it came out something not rational.....

Too bad I really need that certification for my job.
If anybody is so kind to take a look at my class diagram, just to
express his/her opinion I'd be really grateful..........

Dear Francesco,

I am sorry to hear that you failed SCEA II. It must be a shock for you.
Contact me if you need some assistance with your diagrams, and always remember -- hard work finally pays off.

Ciao,
Carla

Hello!
in the Business Model class diagram I had 14 classes.
I have then added a smaller one for showing the Swing JClient
but I think I lost points in the BM diagrams.

I'm afraid either it wasn't 100% UML compliant or I did some
stupid mistakes with relations between Models.

I don't think I needed to add EJB to the diagram. I have searched
through the newsgroup and they were only included in the
component diagram.....

Regards
franziska

Did you add Stateless Session Beans as service classes in the class diagram? You mentioned you didn't add EJB, but as per suggested in SCEA Study Guide, by Mark Cade, you should add 'service' classes.

Well I added the service class in the component diagram.
Anyway from this experience I have learnt that if I had followed Cade guidelines for the Class Diagram, maybe I would have passed.

Doesn't matter. People of this forum motivated me to try again, It'll be allright next time.
Thanks to all !

Hi franziska, can you please send me the assignment that you uploaded to Sun, may be I can help you what's missing. You can mail me the jar to anirudhsonthalia@gmail.com. Don't worry you'll pass in the next attempt, we just need to check out what's wrong in the design & rectify the understanding.
