It took me five and half weeks to get my part II result. It is a not-so-bad score. Actually I am happy with it as I did not spend much time on it and I submitted a very simple solution. You will see this from my feedback.

As many others, I has benefited from feedbacks from people who passed earlier and shared their experience. I want do the same to share how my solution looks like. Of course, no real questions and answers. I believe my simple solution will show people a bottom line to pass the exam instead of a perfect / high score one.

Class: 39 / 44
Component: 35 / 44
Colloboration: 12 / 12

My submission has 6 files, an index, a class diagram, a component diagram, and three sequence diagrams. Less than 70KB in total before jared.

I documented some assumptions and designs in the index file. Its size is about 7KB.

Class diagram has 17 classes in one page.
1, Classes that have operations: 0
2, Classes that have attributes: 7 (only one of them has more than one attributes.)
3, Associations that have a name: 0

Component diagram has 13 components plus EJB container.
1, Associations that have a name: 0

Three sequence diagrams can fit in one page each with normal size font.
1, All business calls. No EJB related calls like create, find, etc..
2, Most of calls do not have parameters

And overall, I did not even mention any design or J2EE patterns.

Thank you. The actual time may be between 20-30 hours, and it has been spent across a period of 2-4 weeks to think and review. By the way, I have been working in the Java/J2EE field for years. Good luck!

It wont be hard if you have designed part 2 all by yourself. Its just an essay exam
