Hi All,

First there is info. to all who doesnt know that there is an pdf version of the book called "Designing Enterprise Applications with the J2EE Platform, Second Edition" on sun's website.
Its link is at http://java.sun.com/

blueprints/guidelines/designing_enterprise_applications_2e/

Now one question, I have seen this book haven't gone through.

All the SCEA's gurus, can you please let me know that how much its required to study this book for the prep. of the Part I exam?

I don't use that book at all, because it's not recommended by Sun for SCEA preparation.

Sun recommends Mark Cades book.

Thanks Darya,

I am also studying Marc Cade's book.
But I found its very brief, and the topic called "Applicability of J2EE" of SCEA exam is not covered properly.

I'm not a very-very experienced guy in architecting huge applications from scratch .
So, I'm trying to read some good books to get knowledge about this topic.

Thanks,
Manish
