I am working on SCEA part 2 and planning to use both a Web front-end and a Rich Interface application. For the latter I plan to use Swing within an applet, which I've never done before myself
I think the point of the SCEA certification is that a certified architect is confident with the J2EE technology and when/how to use them, system level requirements, architectural constraints, etc... and can come up with an efficient/effective architecture.... NOT to build himself the system.
That's right. As already stated in other posts: You're supposed to know, that Swing exists and what it's for, but you do not need to know how to fiddle with Swing components themselves - that's the scope of a developer.
Hi Frank, Since you had already passed SCEA Part-1 with a great percentage, Can you please help me how to prepare for the same. I willing to give SCEA exam ASAP. Please help me out in this matter. What are the good books availabe? Which book is preferable. Is there any online material. Or any offline material? Please consider this as a personal request, and help me out!
