Hi All,

Alhamdullilah, I have passed part II and III. It took me less than a month, where i spent better part of my weekends. Probably, around 40 Man hours of effort has gone into the assignment.

I don't know why I lost so many marks in class diagrams, when I thought it was near perfect.

This report shows the total points that could have been awarded in each section and the actual amount of points you were awarded. This information is provided in order to give you feedback on your relative strengths on a section basis.
The maximum number of points you could have received is 100, minimum to pass is 70.

Class Diagram (44 maximum) .......................... 32
Component Diagram (44 maximum) ...................... 40 Sequence/Collaboration Diagrams (12 maximum) ........ 9

I would like to convey my heartfelt thanks to this forum which has been an essential part of my preparation during the time.

Regards,

Congrats Asif !

Time to celebrate.

Could you share some info about your class diagrams. Did you follow the Pet Store blue print approach or Mark Cade approach ?

Thanks a lot for the wishes...

The question regarding Class Diagram and Component Diagram is quite interesting.. Infact, i was really worried about my component diagram, however was extremely sure about the correctness of my class diagram. Class diagram was split for EJB's, Value Objects, Utilities etc.

There were two component diagrams, one was general about the overall framework, and the other one showed the components in detail.

What about extending the business domain model by creating another class diagram? Have you did it?

Sun's scoring criteria says:
1) Class Diagram: This category covers how well your class diagram(s) address the object model needed to satisfy the requirements.

I imagine they are looking for just an extension of the Domain Model. I assume it would be best to keep the class diagram technology neutral.
