Thanks Java ranch to my success.

I have been a silent spectator here and I prepared for the exams for about 4 weeks. I felt some questions I answered were right on but apparently they were wrong, which is hard for me to belive especially the security related ones which is one of my strong areas.

If you have experience then this exam is quite easy, I feel.

Again thanks for this forum which helped a lot.

The books I used for preparing were

1. gang of four/head first - design patterns.
2. ejbs - lots of personal experience except for entity beans.
3. Internationalization - lots of personal experience.
4. Security and all the illities (scalability, etc.) - personal experience.
5. Protocols - Mark Cade

I made personal notes which I felt would help me.
