Hi Guys,

Thanks for your reply.

By the time you reach for Part 2 and 3, you should be familiar with J2EE architecture and design patterns. Start part 2 by downloading the assignment(pay and get the voucher numbers for both 2 & 3 at the same time, so that you can give part 3 as soon as you finish part 2). Go through the assignment and keep that in mind. Look in the Sun Java Blue prints for the sample J2EE application architectures, they are a good source of application design.

Also look in the free J2EE book on the Sun web site, "Designing Enterprise Applications with J2EE". This has got some very good analysis of what kind of decisions needs to be made in what kind of enterprise application scenarios.

Also don't forget your real world experience :-)

For part 3, if you do part 2 on your own, you are at home in part 3:-) I know, every body will say that, but wont actually tell you whats in there. But just prepare how your application architecture handles functional as well as non-functional requirements and that should be it.

ALL THE BEST!
