Hi,

I am not a J2EE expert, just moderate experience. I want to start SCEA PART-I. Can anybody please guide me on how and where to start?

I am planning to give the exams in next 3-4 months. Is that enough to finish SCEA.

Any assistance would be of great help.

Thanks for giving me the direction. But I just want to confirm that if these are updated too. Because it says the SCEA expects J2EE 1.2 and EJB 1.1 version.

Is that correct?

Hi PG,

I am also planing to give the SCEA. As from my company they have rolled out this to prepare certified Architect, and i am selected.

Anyways, right now i am refering book "J2EE Sun Certified Enterprise Architect for J2EE" of Paul Allen and Joseph from AllInOne Publication.

If you have any good suggestion regarding material than do update me.

Bye

Most of the good books for SCEA are already listed here:

http://faq.javaranch.com/view?SceaBooks

Add to that Head First Design Patterns and SCBCD Exam Study Kit: Java Business Component Developer Certification for EJB (which I found useful for the EJB lifecycle parts)

Hope this helps!
