To those who have passed the part 2 exam:

I am looking at the trial versions of visual paradigm or sparx ea uml editors.

When you generate the jpg image, these softwares, include notes at the background, like, 'Visual Paradigm - Evaluation Copy" or "Unregistered Copy", printed as background, all over the whole page.

Is this ok to submit to Sun? (with all those unnecessary trial version markings)

StarUML and ArgoUML both offer open source UML modeling tools. They do not display an "evaluation version" warning.

Jan, Thanks.

I have done a lot already on the Visual Paradigm. Would it be okay to submit that to Sun - with the unnecessary background?

On the Visual Paradigm, I just figured out now, as long as you make only 1 sequence diagram per project, there is only 1 small unnecessary line painted at the background. Otherwise, the whole page is painted with it.

But to those who hasnt started usign this software, I suggest you try others first. This has lots of bugs. 'Undo' doesnt always return you to the exact previous state.

Hmmm, would you submit these diagrams to a client with "Evaluation Copy" or "Unregistered Copy" on them?

I think not!
