Need help understanding a Use Case description

I'm not sure if this is a translation misunderstanding, I'm a ESL speaker, but I found an absolutely cryptic sentence in the "Prep. It." use case:

(...) and alternative flights if less than selected and within one hour of departure and return times (...)

You'll only understand this bit of excerpt if you've read the whole text. I would appreciate your comments on what this specific step of the use case (2nd system response) is supposed to mean.

It means flights that have departure time within one hour before and one hour after the selected flight.

E.g. if you select a flight leaving from New York to Boston at 1200 hours, the system will display any flight leaving between 1100 and 1300 hours - could be one, two, four, etc...

And the same for the return flight, if applicable.

There are no problems with your question. I think this has been mentioned several times, but just to reiterate - questions relating to understanding of the business domain or the use cases are allowed; questions relating to creating a solution are not.

In addition to �dne's excellent explanation, I would add that price is important. So:
