Hi Guys,

Does anyone know if the results for the part 1 (beta) will be released immediately after taking the exam? Or shall we wait a few days to get an email from Sun?

Another thing, is it true that there is no UML questions in part 1 (beta).

regards,

J

Beta results aren't generally released immediately after the exam is taken. I imagine that this beta won't really deviate from that - I think the delay between Parts I and II is to allow for expedited (at least, as far as betas go) scoring to determine who can continue on.

I'd expect the exam results to be available the second week of November, since the Part II exam begins on November 21st.

About UML, I don't see a exam objective that refer to UML, so I believe questions about UML should not present in the exam.

I think the reason they drop UML that is because we must use UML in part 2, so it's redundant to test UML knowledge in part 1.
