Hi All,

I have sucessfuly cleared SCEA part I with 89 percentage.I was inspired by javaranch to a greater extent.I have used various resources for my preparation. Here are the references that I used:

1)Mark cade (Just use this for general overview.Dont even dare to dream that this would be enough)
2)ED Roman for EJB.(I would say understand eachline of this book and this is the bible for exam if you understand this completely you will get 100% in EJB)
3)Legacy connectivity is also a important topic because you can expect atleast 5-8 questions on it.
4)Design patterns :Understand completely why you need to use design pattern think for a while what you would have done instead of using that design pattern in this situation. Why only this design pattern why not other.
I would suggest to execute atleast one example for each design pattern to be confident at it.
4)Last but not least Security is most important.you would get 6 questions.

I sincerely feel that you need atleast 6-8 years of expriene to actually understnd the problem presented and corelate to your expriencce.Trust me its not a easy Exam !!!

Thanks guys for congratulating me!!.I am now half deep in to the assignment for the SCEA-2.I need the profissional advice here.I have used Argo uml and sun Ide for generation of UML diagrams.I was wondering if there are any new tools that are more easier to use than IBM rational Enterprise Architect.I really don't like the way patters are represented in the Rational products
