Does anybody know what is the format of delivering SCEA 5 Part 2? Can I take a snashot from UML tool (e.g Rational rose), save it as an image (.jpg) and then embed jpg in the html page. Is it an acceptable format?

Thanks,
Malay

Please ask these questions directly to Sun.

If Sun feel that there are enough people asking the questions, then they may:
  • Update the instructions so that it is clearer for future candidates
  • Post a comment in this forum

  • If you post a question directly in this forum, neither of these can happen.

    Thanks. Andrew

There is mention in the assignment that the submission must be HTML packaged within a jar file. I too found that very vague. But I would assume the printscreen method is the approach I will have to take.

If you think about what they're saying, they're really just saying "give this thing to us in the easiest possible way for us to view it."

I'm sure people use all sorts of tools, and export their UML in file formats that nobody has ever heard of, or they export their UML projects in a format that nobody can view unless they have the tool used to create the diagrams installed. Even in my everyday work, idiots are sending me architecture diagrams in special Microsoft VISIO formats that I can't view. It frustrates me to no end. In fact, I'm sure that happens all the time with the SCEA exam, much to the frustration of the people doing the marking.

So, with that in mind, I'm just going to create a few HTML pages, embed some low res gif images of my models, and who knows, maybe even a few google adsense links as well. Why not try to make a penny off the person marking the assingment?

If you are using a rototiller, you are doing it wrong. Even on this tiny ad:
