Hi All,

I have completed the SCEA and I really appreciate all the details shared thru' this forum which helped me a lot.

I used the following resources:
Sun Certified Enterprise Architect by Mark Cade & Simon Roberts
http://www.geocities.com/subra_73/SCEA_Practice_Questions.htm
http://stephane.weber1.free.fr/SCEA/Notes/John_Wetherbie_Notes.txt
http://www.moelholm.com/
http://www.bm-one.com/Se/scea1.html
http://www.vicomsoft.com/knowledge/reference/firewalls1.html
EPractizeLabs tool

And I used the MS-Visio to create class, component and sequence diagrams.

Thanks,
Shanmugam

Congratulations!

In part 3, how long did you answer each question? (like how many sentences or paragraphs, generally speaking.)

Hi Shanmugam,

Is EPractize helpful in preparation of SCEA-1 ? I am planning for SCEA-1 and planning to buy the tool. Please suggest.

I heard that Wizlab is good one and i am also going to purchase this exam.
For last two exams i purchased wizlab and i was quit satisfied.

[Edit: Rumors and hearsay removed. If you have direct evidence, or can point to something where "person x says ..." then feel free to post that, but please don't post unsubstantiated claims.]

Sorry guys for the delayed reply on this.

In part 3, I did write at the max of 3 paragraphs per question and also added addtional references on certain components from the different sections from the Part-II assignment such as ClassDiagram, Sequence Diagram and component diagram.

Yes. EPractizelabs was the useful tool for me. I am very much satisfied with that.

I have used J2EE 1.3 for my assignment.

All the best on your preparations.
