Though some J2EE design patterns became obsolete in JEE5, if you keep your design a little high level than J2EE 1.4, I think version does not matter.

Hi nir! I'm also thinking of providing a JEE 5 solution for Parts II/III. I don't see any problems (please correct me if I'm wrong) with using that approach.

I had a feeling j2ee 5 should not be problem by reading
"most important requirement of all: it must be j2ee"

Now, I think I am convinced to go ahead with j2ee 5.0

Hello Friends

Now that I have completed Part-1 Examination pretty recently. Can someone advice me whether I can take my Part-2 and Part-3 with the latest syllabus as suggested by Sun. Otherwise do I need to buy the voucher well before this month-end and finish the certification before this year-end. Please advice.

I passed SCEA J2EE a year ago and used JEE 5.0. Passed with ~80%.

Experience is obviously worth more than an opinion.
