Hello everybody,

I am trying to find some good resources for the part 1 of SCEA5 exam. Do you know if there are any good summaries/articles on "Section 1: Application Design Concepts and Principles". I am particularly interested in separation of concerns and layers of J2EE part. Does anyone have any ideas what kind of questions to expect in this area (i.e. is it just some generic SoC/AOP stuff or there will be something more specific)?

Thank you very much in advance.

Best regards,
Nick.

Easy Sanjay...Andrew was just asking Nick to correct his display name. There are no secret documents going around.

The exam focusses very much on MVC and SOA. So, keep your applications layered, separate concerns, and employ technologies that facilitate this, and you'll do just fine!

you know our secrets!

@Sanjay - Cameron is working on a book for SCEA 5. From his posts here it looks like it will be very good. Keep an eye out for it.

I just noticed the description under Andrew and Cameron's names

Cow tipping is an activity allegedly performed by sneaking up on an upright, sleeping cow and pushing it over for fun.

Cow Tipping

[A Jackaroo] occupies a position much like that of an apprentice on a ship, and has to work with the men though supposed to be above them in social status.
