Dear All,
I cant understand what is expected under following objective in SCEA5

Explain how you would design a Java EE application to repeatedly measure critical non-functional requirements and outline a standard process with specific strategies to refactor that application to improve on the results of the measurements.

Any SCEA certified/aspirant person willing to take on this question ?

I thought I'd take a stab at it but I have questions too:

Is it that you have to build a JEE app to measure another app for NFRs?

critical non-functional requirements

would that mean that you need to build a JEE app to measure 'performance, availability, reliability, scalability, maintenability' of another app... and then..

outline a standard process with specific strategies to refactor that application

... do this to improve the results of the measurements?!

I'm confused too

I think this is more of iterative process oriented, as we see many processes in sofware development. The design always go along with the process .

It usually is iterative. Now how would you measure and outline a strategy to improve the results of the measurement?

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
