JSF is the new coming one for SCEA. But IMOP it's not very useful knowledge for a back-end programmer. I know a lot of people recommend CORE JSF 2nd.

But I really don't want to read this more than 700 pages book just for several general JSF questions in SCEA5.

Is there any general but good enough JSF book or documents for SCEA5?

At the same time I have similar questions for JSP/servlets.

Thanks in advance.

You can read Core JSF 2nd ed.

Don't need to read every pages. Just high level concept is enough.

There are lots of useful JSF tutorials in IBM DeveloperWorks.

Try reading the whole "JSF for nonbelievers" series (4 parts) there.

Thanks for your recommendation.

Those JSF for nonbelievers are much less than Core JSF.

I will try to begin with those IBM documents...
