Hello Ranchers,

Recently I cleared SCEA 2 Part I with 81%. Here is detailed score:

Concepts....................100%
Common Architectures........66%
Legacy Connectivity.........66%
EJB.........................100%
EJB container Model.........50%
Protocols...................100%
Applicability of J2EE.......66%
Design Patterns.............80%
Messaging...................66%
Interntionalization.........100%
Security....................100%

Its not that good score but I am happy because I didnt spend much time on preparation. My earlier SUN certification i.e. SCBCD helped me a lot for EJB preparation.

I got my project assignment from SUN and started working on it. I would like to know which tool we should use for UML diagram designing.

Thanks for your all the help for SCEA preparation.

Regards,
Mahesh

Congrats !

I used the JUDE UML tool when I designed the diagrams. It was quite useful. It had 2 drawbacks though. I can remember only one of them, which was that it was not able to draw packages in a component diagram. I got around that by drawing a package with the line tool.

Good luck

Thanks John for your response. Do you know what's the nature of SCEA 2 Part III exam?

Part 3 simply asks you about how you implemented some features in your application. Its a breeze really. You dont need any preparation if you have completed part 2. Good luck

I'm still working on my assignment, its taking me a lot of time.
I am using Sparx EA 7 seems to be fairly complete altough I am missing some functionality that is provided with Star UML which lacks other features.

Anyway, congratulations you with your first success and I hope you succeed with the follow-ups.

Marcel.
